Welcome to the website for the brothers of the Kappa Sigma Chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity! The Kappa Sigma Chapter was successfully colonized in 2001 and officially became a chapter on the Pacific campus in June of 2003. Since its founding, it has attracted and traveled along with hundreds of members of the Pacific community throughout their undergraduate years.
The fundamental purpose of the Sigma Chi Fraternity is the cultivation, maintenance and accomplishment of the ideals of friendship, justice, and learning within our membership. In order to pursue these ideals as a chapter we strive to create a reliable support network while encouraging any member to assume a leadership position and pursue initiatives to better the chapter. Our chapter's focus in the upcoming semester and year is on strengthening our bonds of brotherhood through chapter activities including, but not limited to, encouraging the use of our newly renovated house as a space for brothers to socialize, increasing the frequency of community service events where brothers will work together to build teamwork skills, and implementing an intra-fraternity peer tutoring program so that our membership can work together to grow, not only as leaders and friends, but as students as well.
Our members come from diverse backgrounds and pursue a wide variety of interests at Pacific. The Sigma Chi Fraternity is always striving to recruit men with different temperaments, talents and convictions. Please explore our site to learn more about our chapter and Sigma Chi as a whole. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to use the contact form and a representative from the chapter will get back to you.
